  1. Welcome back!

The comments were getting a bit lengthy, so I’m happy we can start fresh 🙂

  2. Good to have you back!

Over at CW’s, Weetie posted this link, and I hadn’t had time to read it until now.
Folks, this is something extremely important, and it is being done quietly and under the radar.
We all need to be aware of this. Soros and his minions are behind this, too.

Warning! Progressives’ NPV Plan for White House Control, 2012 & Permanently

While the lamestream media holds public attention on GOP candidate rivalries, a “progressive” strategy is underway to eliminate the role of the states in electing a U.S. President. By transferring electoral votes to a “national popular vote” this “Compact” would usurp the role of the states as safeguarded by our Constitution. In doing so, it could also neutralize Obama’s critics — totally.

This may be the most vital – and time sensitive – expose WAM has ever uncovered and shared! And it’s happening now, under the radar, with the general public in the dark. This “ultimate vote fraud” is intentionally complicated to keep it obscure until it’s too late to stop it.

Welcome back. You have been missed!

  4. …and the Klingon War Bride again strikes fear in the hearts of fried shrimp everywhere….

  5. Say, SueK, that Insider report is a real humdinger this time. There is much food for thought therein. Thanks for linking to it.

  6. Hi Cabby,

You’re welcome! I always keep an eye out for updates; Insider knows more than he can say right now.

Many are trying to figure out who he is and the majority of folks seem to think it’s James Carville. I don’t think so because Carville is pretty high-profile. Whoever it is, though, had better be very careful; these people are ruthless!

  7. Air Force Brat

I still wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the Insider is Rahm Emanuel. Not just because of the language, mind you . . . 😉 Speaking of himself in the third person would be standard operating procedure if he wanted to keep something of a cloak of mystery around the identity.

Just my own personal opinion, The idea could very well be a bunch of crap. 🙂

  8. Air Force Brat

Don’t bother trying to post on All three comments I posted in the past week on various subjects (none of which carried any inflammatory or offensive words whatsoever). were deleted. Yet other posters’ comments about martial law being Obama’s “wet dream”, as well as other phrases from various threads there that I personally find VERY offensive, are allowed to remain.

Maybe it’s just me. Whatever. I’ve always had a problem with hypocrites and double-standards.

  9. AFB and Cabby,

    I lost Pepper tonight.

    Please check your e-mail.

  10. Sue, I am SO sorry.

  11. SueK,

I am sorry about your loss.

I did read your White House Insider link. Very interesting.

Also, I downloaded a book yesterday that I hope to have time to read. Has anyone heard of it?

“The Secret Life of Barack Hussein Obama,” by Mondo Frazier

    I hope all are well!

  12. Thanks, Nancy and Ladyhawke; she was a very special little critter and I’ll remember and miss her always.

Ladyhawke, I’ve heard of the book and have read some rave reviews of it; I think it’ll be worth the read. Please post a review when you’ve had a chance to digest it.

Thanks again for your kind words.

  13. Air Force Brat

SueK — I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your little tribble. I know it doesn’t do any good right now to say “She’s in a better place” and “She’s not suffering any more”, but both are true nonetheless. You haven’t truly lost her; she still watches over you from the Great Playground, where she’s probably trading stories of your kindness right now with the other critters who arrived there in previous years. And when it’s your time to go to the Rainbow Bridge, little Greta Garbo will come running as fast as her little tiny feet can carry her, whole and healthy.

  14. For whatever it is worth, I visited CW blog a few minutes ago ,made a comment told the truth and got put in moderation. No profanity or anything that would generate conflict……just the truth. This re affirms the fact that the site is infiltrated by outsiders who are trying to discredit anyone who tells it like it is. Just thought I would put this up here for everybody to read.

  15. I think that the TINA character is another one of the BOOBY’S invented characters, just as is Pat1789. He is such a CHILD!

  16. Suek……………….
I sympathasise with you in the loss of Pepper. Only time can heal the heart. I am sure that God knows that you take very good care of his tiny creatures, and I doubt that Pepper will be the last. You are God’s elected care provider for his tiny creatures, and I tend to believe that there is already a replacement being readied for your capable care giving. Hope this cxheers you up a little. I know how I would feel had it been either Ralf,or Bridgett.

  17. SUEK………………….
We all love our tiny people, just as if they were our own flesh and blood. It hurts big time when we lose somebody……..including Pepper.

  18. SueK | October 28, 2011 at 9:51 pm |
Sue, So sorry to hear about Pepper. I wish you strength to get through your loss. It’s as if we all knew her personally, thanks to your updates and pictures.
    Take care…

    Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our
    friends are warm and comfortable.

All of the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor and those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, after so long a time, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together

The Rainbow Bridge was truly special.

  20. Air Force Brat

The link below is an adaptation of the original Rainbow Bridge — it was created shortly after 9/11, and is another very moving piece.

  21. Thank you, AFB, OldSalt, DABIG, Cabby, Nancy and Ladyhawke,

Your kind words help a lot and I know that what you all say is true. I am comforted by your response to a tiny critter who wasn’t here long enough.

This will be raw for quite some time, but it will subside.

My animal hospital is a unique place, especially when it comes to situations like this. After the pet has passed they take an impression of the paws in soft clay then, bake the clay to set it. The pet’s name is stencilled in and the owner is presented with the clay impression to keep forever.

I’ve ordered a private cremation from a wonderful company in Rhode Island. They will send me a certificate of private cremation, a lovely urn with Pepper’s ashes, and a nice sympathy card; this is more than just a business with these folks.

AFB, I’d never seen that Rainbow Bridge adaptation and it’s wonderful. Thanks for posting that.

Toby bunny now has some medical issues and we’re addressing that. He’ll be OK; he’s a tough guy.

With all this going on, I wasn’t paying too much attention to the unprecedented early snowstorm that was about to hit New England. Unusual for this weather hound not to notice. As OldSalt said in an e-mail, Mother Nature sure did open up a can of whoopass on us! MA is under a declared state of enmergency. I was lucky with only 3″ of wallpaper paste snow, but it stuck to everything and the winds were gusting to ~ 40 MPH. Power went out here Saturday night at 8:00 PM and came back on at 5:00 AM Sunday. Thank goodness my house only got down to 62 degrees (no heat); the buns were fine, but I worried about Lucy pig who stayed in her sleep sack, all warm and snuggly.

    It’s been a helluva weekend….

  22. SueK, really sorry to hear about your loss of Pepper. I know how tough it can be. I have the ashes of Spencer and Gretchen, two dear cats on the mantle. Recently, one of my dogs has had some pain/shaking and I’ve had him to the vets a couple of times. It’s been stressful. At least he seems to be improving after giving him anti-inflammatory meds and making some dietary changes.

Glad you did okay with the storm. I’m one of the lucky ones on the coast. Didn’t lose power, no snow, all rain. The surf was gorgeous today! My friends in CT weren’t so lucky and are hurting now. Could be a week with no power there. I was supposed to go down there this weekend for a reunion. Had no choice but to blow it off. Dodged a bullet.

  23. Thank you, indy; as you know, it’s beyond tough to lose a family member.

I hope you can get a diagnosis on your dog; if your local vet can’t nail it, Angell can. They’re expensive but they seem to have the capacity to diagnose when other Vets are stumped. Praying he improves.

Got a reverse 911 call from my town’s emergency manager Sunday evening; a whopping 80% of town is still without power! I was very lucky. I also have friends in south central CT and they have nearly a foot on the ground and no power; they have a dug well and have no running water.

My two wonderful (?) coworkers are from southeast MA and have no idea what I’m talking about. It’s not winter yet; they’ll get theirs :).

    Glad you’re OK!

  24. Happy Halloween…

  25. Glad to hear you all didn’t get powered out by the storm.

Indymac: Sorry to hear about your dog, hopefully he’ll recover quickly. Our dog does that when bit by centipedes or licks a toad, doubt that’s your issue however.

  26. dabig, that clip was hysterical; I love the faces :).

Halloween has either been cancelled or postponed in these parts due to the storm. Lots of disappointed kids however, unlike Carl and Cindy, at least they won’t have to deal with Barky.

  27. Air Force Brat

SueK — I’m having a brain fart at the moment. What part of CT is Stamford in? My cousin (Uncle Paul’s youngest kid) lives there.

Also, thanks so much for your e-mail. Loved, loved, LOVED the pics. Your little bunny-wunnies look like they’re about to get into serious mischief. And the piggies are as cute as can be. 🙂

  28. Hi AFB,

Stamford is in southwest CT, right on the NY border; looks as if they got a good couple of inches down there.

Glad you liked the pics! Even though Toby is a bit compromised right now, they had a great time running around in camping lantern light when the power was knocked out Saturday night. As you know, only Lucy remains and seems a bit disoriented without Pepper. I’ll be watching that.

  29. Do we dare to be encouraged by this? Maybe just a little?

Sheriff Joe’s posse delivers promised Obama surprise
Panel probing eligibility for 2012 ballot wants to see original birth certificate

    World Net Daily

Arizona’s maverick Sheriff Joe Arpaio promised surprises in his jurisdiction’s investigation of Barack Obama’s eligibility for the presidential ballot and his Cold Case Posse is delivering – raising questions that touch on the authenticity of the long-form birth certificate issued last April and the possibility Obama is using a fraudulent Social Security Number.
Read the rest at the above link.

  31. Hi Don,

I linked the WND article just before you linked the same story from ORYR.

Great minds (those would be yours and mine) think alike :).

Cautiously optimistic on this one. Let’s hope that Sheriff Joe’s Cold Case Posse isn’t somehow ‘persuaded’ to either find nothing or drop the investigation; we know what these people are capable of.

Hope all’s well on the Left coast.

  32. Is anyone here disturbed about the attack on Cain? It reminds me of what happened years ago to Clarence Thomas.

  33. Air Force Brat

Yes, the attack on Cain is a little disturbing. However, I believe that it will have the same result as the smear campaign against Thomas — not much effect at all.

If Cain gets the nomination (which is anyone’s guess; there’s a new “frontrunner” every week), he will have much more of the same. If he’s the “real deal”, he will be able to throw it all off and beat the pants off Obama (or Hillary, should Obama resign, be impeached, or be incapacitated by health problems). Cain does have some issues to address and questions to answer, however, such as “When push comes to shove, will he automatically ‘vote black’?” This type of thing certainly does happen. Remember that even Allen West voted FOR Pigford II, before massive public outcry caused his office to issue a quick “I didn’t do enough research” statement. We must, must, MUST vote for the right candidate for this country, not just what we perceive as the “good” black candidate over the “bad” black candidate.

I do NOT want to give anyone the impression that I”m anti-Cain; I most certainly am not. Just a caution against crowning ANYONE as the new Messiah until all questions are answered. Not Romney, not Perry, not Palin, not John Bolton, and not Cain.

  34. Yup, I’m pretty disturbed about the attack on Cain but then, the frontrunner will indeed be attacked, no matter what. Romney’s Mormonism and RomneyCare, Perry’s Guardasil fiasco and instate tuition for illegal aliens, sexual harassment allegations against Cain. They’re throwing bovine excrement against the wall and hoping something sticks.

The candidate who survives all that will be #1 in my book and worthy of my support.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Barky has so many skeletons in his closet you can’t close the door yet, the media is silent.

Whats with the left coast thing??? I now live in Tennessee (God’s country). haha

  36. Oops, sorry, Don! I was remembering your former ‘handle!’

You’re better off being away from the Left coast :).

  37. Sue K – sorry for your loss of little Pepper. I know how it feels as on Oct 27 I lost my cockatiel who I had for 18 yrs. She got caught between the side of the cage and her archway and broke her neck trying to get out. But I know she will be waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge just as little Pepper is waiting for you.

  38. Hi jr,

Please accept my sincere sympathy for the loss of your baby; what an awful tragedy!

Cockatiels are terrrific birds with a ton of personality! I know it’s small consolation, but you had 18 wonderful years with her and that’s really something!

Yes, they both will be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge; we’ll be looking forward to that.

  39. Evening, All,

I received this via e-mail tonight from a blog host and it’s also been posted elsewhere.

Don’t know who this Martha Trowbridge is however, it’s just another theory to me; she provides no concrete evidence to back up her claims and relies on conjecture. Apparently, Mario thought it was important enough to post.

While what she say is interesting, it just makes the puzzle a bit more complicated. See what you think:

  40. A Crazy Old Coot

    SueK | November 2, 2011 at 9:21 pm |
It doesn’t matter what Martha Trowbridge says about obama’s father. What matters is what it says on onbama’s birth certificate. That, we may never know. Either way, obama would be out due to not being eligible or lying on official documents.

  41. Hi Don,

Right you are! Just thought I’d throw it on here as the article seems to be making the rounds.

Wondering what kind of clout Sheriff Joe would have, if any, in getting the *original* birth documents from Hawaii. I think that at this point, he realizes that there’s something very fishy about this guy and his hidden life.

I think we all know the truth; proving it has been complicated….

Press Ignoring Veterans’ Call for Impeachment

    by JB Williams, ©2011

The Washington Monument is the tallest building in the nation’s capital and was dedicated to the first president, George Washington

(Nov. 2, 2011) — A handful of perpetual malcontents with their hands out make headline news in every newsroom in America for weeks on end. The 3% who want a free ride on taxpayers’ backs can get coverage anytime they want from the Goebbels-like American media.

But where is the press coverage on a Declaration to Restore the Constitutional Republic issued by thousands of Military Veterans and millions of patriotic taxpayers across the country? I hear crickets…
Read the rest at the above link,

  43. Where did everyone go?????

Just got a phone call from the Cain camp; a recording, then a live person asking for my ‘support.’

When people *tell* me what the ‘suggested’ donation is, they lose me right there. I told her there was no extra right now and hung up.

If that’s the way the Cain people are gonna operate, they can count me out. Also, this guy had better get his story straight about this harassment business; every time he talks about it he digs himself deeper.

    I dunno about him…..

  44. dabigragu | October 31, 2011 at 3:59 pm |

Thanks dabig. I’m glad to say he’s been doing much better the past couple of days, since adding some fiber to his diet. Gonna keep a close watch on him.

  45. Coot………….
Just discovered that the alleged commenter on CW (Bessie) is another figment of the child’s imagination,as is the Pat 1789. Uses exactly the same expressions as FS. Boy this child is a real choreographer. Soon he will be the “HEAD CHEESE” OF CW.

  46. Coot………….
It was the person who is now Lt. Governor of Hawaii who reworded the Certificate of Eligibility to EXCLUDE all reference to the Constitution. This altered document was then forwarded to MMMSSS. Pelosi, who signed it. So therein lies the foundation of the DECEIT of America, and two people who are unquestionably guilty of Federal Election fraud. Had Pelosi NOT SIGNED it he would not have been on the Hawaii ballot. Had he not been on the Hawaii ballot he would have not been electable. While I am not sure about it I believe that a presidential candidate must be on the ballot of ALL states to be electable.

  47. A Crazy Old Coot

OldSalt, it’s always good to read your comments. And I agree that without the altered certification, obama would not have been on the ballot in HI or AZ.

I wish that I was able to do more against obama. As you know it costs money to do anything anymore and it is getting in very short supply, thanks to the idiots in DC.

I have decided that I will not vote for anyone that currently holds an elective office. Even if that means I have to vote for a Dem. None of them have honored the oath that they took upon being elected, which means that they have no honor and they cannot be trusted.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest,

  48. I foolishly just read over there. Dig this:

    Ha Rush the Libtard….
Brings on the L.S. Bull Sh1t story to save d- rat Trojan Horse, Herman Cain
Is there any doubt now that Pat is Leo PATrick Haffey?

That bastid just won’t go away.

It seems that many new posters have just ‘popped’ up; that jackass reminds me of the movie Sybil with Sally Field; how many personalities did she have? Nine, or something?

  49. I always thought that Pat 1789 was Free Speech, aka Leo – Leo just became smarter about his postings as Pat. Until today.

I was able to listen to all 3 hours of Rush today. Rush is pissed off at establishment Republicans that did not defend Cain, mostly I sense Krauthammer., but I could be wrong.

  50. Hi Sue and LadyH,

Just posted this at CW and was put in the can.

    Ace | November 5, 2011 at 2:41 am |
I truly appreciate your slap down of Pat 1879. He/she/it is nothing more than a mole whose real identity is Leo Haffey who posts here frequently and has just about ruined this site for everybody who used to hang out here. (I’m sure I’ll be in moderation for this).

Hey Pat, are you enjoying yourself? I’m sure you’re monitoring this as well as other places. Your pathetic, Leo.

  51. Sue,
The story about Sybil was a big fat fake, as I guess you’ve heard. She and her physcologist lied in order to sell a book. To bad Leo and his 9 personalities can’t figure out a way to make a profit from his ongoing scam.

  52. Hey Sue-Z-Q and Ladyhawke,

    Nice to read you!

Nah, I don’t post over there anymore; I think I’m banned, but that’s OK; who’d wanna discuss anything with Mr. Multiple Personalities, anyway?

I know Sybil was fake but the movie scared the stuffing out of me. There are people like that, though; I did a gig in a state mental hospital and they ar indeed there. And worse!

Good comment! Even though it was canned, *somebody* had to read it in order to can it. I’m sure it was read by the ‘appropriate’ eyes :).

  53. Air Force Brat

Hey all — just had the second earthquake in less than two days. (SueK, check your e-mail). It shook the house and scared the hell out of my birds. Didn’t think this was supposed to happen in Oklahoma. These things seem to be getting more frequent.

  54. AFB,

Check your e-mail; this last one was just revised to a 5.6 by the USGS.

OK’s rockin’ but not in a good way :(.

Will check your local papers in the morning.

  55. Air Force Brat,

I experience earthquakes regularly, as I live in Ca – I did not think they would happen in OK – I hope you are alright.

Was there damage? Pets can usually sense them before they happen – any sign from the birds?

  56. Air Force Brat

Hi SueK and Ladyhawke — thanks for your replies. Didn’t feel any more temblors overnight, and the birdies are more calm this morning. They were absolutely freaking out during the quakes; but now that I look back, they ALSO started screaming like banshees several hours ahead, both times. They must have sensed something going on in the earth ahead of time. They do that before tornadoes too; I call them “little weathermen with feathers”. 🙂

Anyhow, staying up with them for a few minutes after each quake and talking softly to them before putting them back to bed seemed to help. Hopefully Oklahoma is done with quakes for a while, though!

  57. A Crazy Old Coot

4 earthquakes in Okla over the last 2 days. Glad I no longer live in Okla or CA. lol

You folks in that area, be careful and be safe.

  58. Another 4.0 at approximately 9:00 AM local time Sunday morning.

These quakes are occurring along the Humboldt fault zone just to the east of OKC. Don’t know why.

The 4.7 in the wee hours of Saturday morning was a foreshock, with the main quake (a 5.6) happening last Saturday night.

There were some low-magnitude quakes in the hours preceding the 4.7, and there will be aftershocks for a few days. If you’re not in a quake zone and have never experienced one it can be quite unnerving, to say the least. Don can attest to that!

Watch the animals; they sense things we can’t and birds are particularly sensitive to Earth changes.

Hope everyone is OK in OK. Hopefully, things will calm down soon.

  59. Air Force Brat

Barely heard/felt the one at approximately 9:00, only just the very slightest (and brief) rumbling. Was the epicenter a lot further away?

Thanks again, SueK, for the info on the Humboldt and other fault lines. I just hope the Nemaha doesn’t decide to do something radical and wake completely up. Mr. Smith (my geology teacher) seemed to be a little fearful of that happening for some reason.

Birdies are being little sh*ts this morning, but I think they may be in “tantrum” mode rather than “warning” mode. They don’t have that total freak-out look in their eyes today (yet).

  60. Hey AFB,

The quake last night (5.6) was centered 44 miles east of OKC; the 4.0 this morning was 36 miles east of OKC however, it’s the magnitudes that are important rather than distance from the epicenter.

As I mentioned last night, the Richter scale is a logarithmic scale. A 5.0 is 10x stronger than a 4.0 and a 6.0 is 100x stronger than a 4.0 so last night’s quake was 10+x stronger than the one this morning!

Now, Nemaha is the subsurface ridge that was discovered only by deep drilling; you can imagine how tough it is to try to map faults, fault zones and ridges! Some of tha CA quakes are along faults Geoscientists never knew existed…until they let go. The ridge is located close to the Humboldt fault zone so the two subsurface features worked in tandem to produce the recent quakes.

Just the opinion of an old Geology hack :).

Let the birds chew on your fingers; destroying human flesh always seems to have a calming effect on them….

Don’t be surprised if you’re rumbling for a few more days; aftershocks should be expected. There shouldn’t be anything of the magnitude you experienced last night.

  61. Air Force Brat

Hi SueK — eternal thanks for your knowledge! And it’s good to know that I likely won’t have to contemplate trying to navigage a seesawing house and take the keets to a place of safety tonight. The little poopers still don’t trust the big scary human hand enough to chew on it, but an extra millet spray and some new newspapers on the cage bottom provided plenty of chewable comfort. I also told them Auntie Sue said to settle down and be good little bundles of feathers. 😀

Regrettably, the vid we discussed apparently no longer exists, even on the particular European TV channel that lodged one of the copyright complaints. Guess I’ll have to meet The Voice one of these days and ask for my own personal copy, huh? 😉

  62. Air Force Brat

Eeeek! I just saw a typo in my post — of course I meant “navigate”, not “navigage”. :/

  63. Gotta get this off my chest…. Bill Kristol is the consummate Republican inside the beltway insider and he makes me gag! Who but the media even listens to this man? Certainly not me or my fellow countrymen… one more reason to vote for Cain.

  64. Hi, SueQ – Good to hear from you! I agree about Bill Kristol. He and Karl Rove are more than I can take sometimes. They are SO smug and SO into the Beltway. It seems they’ve lost touch with real, ordinary Americans.

BTW, do you happen to have the link to Aussie’s “A World at War” blog?
I like to check in there to see what she and Carlyle are saying but erased all of my history last night. Hers doesn’t seem to be on any of the usual search engines that I can find.

  65. Cabby, that would be

  66. Leo uses several aliases as part of his act, and I concur that Pat is one.

  67. Hi indy,

How pathetic is it when someone has the time to create several personalities, figure out names for them, sit on the computer all day and night and talk to himself via those personalities.

What kind of sick bastid is he?

  68. SueQ | November 6, 2011 at 9:06 pm |

Good to see you! I agree about Kristol and Rove. Unfortunately, I would also add Charles Krauthammer to that list.

For those that do not listen to Rush Limbaugh, he has been railing against these supposed Republican powerful types for several weeks. He does not name names, but strategically takes calls that name the names. Krauthammer has angered a lot of folks.

  69. SueK and indy,
Thanks so much for the link. I have recorded it a couple of places now.
I can’t understand why it is not on any search engine under the title of the blog but am not too savvy when it comes to the blogosphere.

  70. Ladyhawke, I agree about Krauthammer, too. He is so very smart, but his association with other elitists seems to be tainting him. We have to remember, too, that he used to be liberal, so his conservatism now may not have a great deal of depth. Just a thought.

  71. Perez Hilton makes me sick, but the Klingon War Bride trying to dance makes me sicker.

Get yer antacids and aspirin ready:

  72. SueK | November 7, 2011 at 12:10 am |

We all agree he’s a sicko, but I still think he’s getting paid. He’s a professional, Alinskyite agitator. Using multiple aliases is part of the psy-ops game, with the goal of controlling the narrative. Faking consensus and attacking other members of the forum is the M.O.

  73. Air Force Brat

Indymac — that makes CW look even worse, as he HAS to know the score by now . . . yet still allows Fulla Sheeyit and all his alter egos to post. And post. And post. And post.

  74. Air Force Brat,

Reading “Fulla Sheeyit” almost made me spew wine all over my monitor!

  75. Ya, kids, who knows why this is happening over there; of course Wells knows, but is mum on the whole subject. I don’t think he reads his own blog most of the time.

On another note, I just got this via e-mail. Air conditioning upgrade? I think not; bunker reinforcement? That’s more like it.

  77. Thanks, Don.

Got it via e-mail from the USGS when it happened and immediately sent it to Air Force Brat.

This quake is in the same location as the first one very early Saturday morning.

Haven’t heard form her; hope she’s OK!

  78. Air Force Brat

Hi SueK and Coot — yes, I did feel that one. Fortunately, though, it didn’t knock the birds off their perch like the 5.6 one on Saturday did. Didn’t feel any others after that, so hopefully we either didn’t have any more, or they were mild. Haven’t checked my e-mail yet, but am on my way there now. I’m ready for these damn things to STOP, once and for all !!!

SueK — how are things going regarding a potential pal for Lucy?

  79. Air Force Brat

SueK — disregard the last sentence of the post above — I checked my e-mail and sent you a reply. Can’t wait to hear all about it when you return! 😀

  80. G’day, All,

    The latest installment from Ulsterman/Insider.

Hang on to yourselves for this one:

  81. Mr. Bill(ms helga)

i have just come over here to see if I will be put into moderation when the subject pertains to Malcom X. CW’s site moderates everything that now pertains to this subject. Here was my last post that is in moderation –

    Your comment is awaiting moderation.

It seems that the USURPER’S birthday is now Oct. 28th. It is not too late to send a birthday card.

Here is the plan – THE BIRTHDAY CARD PROJECT
    1. Go to your nearest grocery store and buy an inexpensive Birthday card

    2. Go home and write a little note saying “I hope this is your correct Birthday”
    3. This is important – Address as follows –
    Mr. Barry Soetoro
    1600 Kendonesia Ave. NW
    Usurperville, D.C. 20500
    4. This is doubly important .
Place on the front top corner or back the following return address-
    1600 Pa. Ave.,N.W.
    Washington, D.C. 20500
Either Way it get’s there. HAHAHA

  82. Mr. Bill(ms helga)

I must be the kiss of death. I was in moderation hehr too.

  83. Sue, what a read! This is one of the best ever from WHI.

  84. Right, indy; we need to pay attention to that WHI piece and maybe reread it a few times.

  85. Dean M. was back over at CW’s. He is away a good deal of the time. I wanted to respond to him – nothing at all that should put my post in moderation – but there it sits. I asked CW to release it, but in the meantime he has started a new thread, and Dean M. may be long gone.

I wonder why this is happening? Paxson and rminnc are bothered with it, too. I tried breaking it up into smaller posts, but to no avail. Yet there is Starla who posts non-stop when she gets going. I believe, however, hers have been put into moderation at times, because of the repetitious posting verbatim.

  86. Hey Cabby,

Any of *us* always go into moderation, regardless of content.

That means only one thing: Haffey and his multiple personalities are moderating.

Starla needs to take herself to a religious fanatic blog; she continually posts long religious articles that chew up valuable band width yet, she gets away with it. Most of her posts are ridiculous and have no place there, IMO.

Yep, all of us go directly to moderation hell…

  87. Cabby AZ ……………..
It is quite obvious that ALL of the various handles like Dean, Pat 1789,Bessie, (and I have reason to believe) Tina, are ALL figments of Laughy’s CHILDISH,and otherwise WARPED LITTLE MIND. I am also convinced that the occasional new handles are also a product of the same IMBECILE.

  88. EVERYBODY……………..
Just give what is going on at CW as much publicity as possible. Kewep it in front of all comers to FOCW. Let people know who Laughy is and what he is up to. It will take a while but soo there will be ONLY CW AND LAUGHY. Meanwhile you need to get somebody who is like the lady at Post&Email to watch over and improve the FOCW so that it has a QUALITY CONTENT rating among visitors. It will be a lot of work but it is really critical at this point. Follow the same format that CW originally followed. Get out a thorough, and to the point news blog and it will grow. But it must be managed!

  89. You will need somebody with journalistic abilities. We don’t need personalities like the (ALLEGED) Tina, Laughy.DeanM, Bessie, Pat 1789, etc. With a little imput ,and elbow grease FOCW could be a NUMBER one sight having thousands of visitors each day,and perhaps even every hour. Hunt for some corporate sponsorship. There are a lot of companies who want internet exposure. For an agreed to FEE you keep the sponsors wares in the potential consumer’s eye while still relating the important news. Above all get a copyright on everything which you originate. We need to do this soon.

  90. A Crazy Old Coot

Right on, Oldsalt! I agree with you once again.

  91. Hi OldSalt and any other Veterans reading here.

A very happy Veteran’s Day to you all and thank you for your service to America!

A simple ‘ thank you’ doesn’t seem to be enough, but it is sincere.

Let us never forget those who paid the ultimate price to keep us free; God bless them and keep them in His care.

Be sure to read all the way to the end. Palin just drew her sword and has it in a spotlight like no other American.

    Governor Palin: Fire Eric Holder

Posted on November 10 2011 – 3:37 PM – Posted by: Stacy Drake

    Via Facebook:

It’s tempting to get distracted with the horse race aspect of electoral politics during a primary season. But as pundits talk about “who’s up and who’s down” in the 24 hour news cycle, we must keep our eye on the ball with the Obama administration. They rely on distraction to skirt responsibility, but we’re going to hold them accountable for their corruption and incompetence.

When the stories about Operation Fast and Furious first broke, it sounded too crazy even for this administration.

Why would any government official with an ounce of common sense think it’s a good idea to facilitate the smuggling of thousands of guns into the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels? That’s what Operation Fast and Furious did.

You might think Eric Holder’s Department of Justice was setting up a sting operation in which our federal agents would swoop down and arrest the bad guys the minute the guns traded hands. But that’s not what happened. Eric Holder’s DOJ had American gun dealers sell weapons to “straw purchasers” tied to drug cartels without actually following the movement of the guns as they were then sold to Mexican drug lords. They apparently thought this so-called “gun-walking” operation would help them chart the path of gun smuggling, but they didn’t have a plan to actually control the weapons’ movements as the guns were allowed to “walk” into Mexico. All Holder’s DOJ did was arm violent criminals. What manner of fools do we have working in this administration? What’s next? Supplying nuclear weapons components to the Iranians so we can track their activities?

Fast and Furious isn’t just your typical government incompetence. This is a deadly tragedy. U.S. border agent Brian Terry was gunned down with weapons connected to Holder’s debacle. At least 200 Mexican citizens were also killed by criminals using Fast and Furious weapons. We can only imagine how many more people will be murdered by criminals our government armed.

When an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives blew the whistle on this operation, the DOJ leaked sensitive information about him to the press. This week, the former U.S. Attorney for Arizona, who was ousted in the wake of the scandal, admitted to being the leaker.

And where is President Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder in all of this? When did he first know about the operation? In his testimony to the House Oversight Committee on May 3, 2011, Holder stated, “I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” But the DOJ’s own documents prove that Holder had been receiving briefings on Fast and Furious for nearly a year before that date. In other words, our government’s top law enforcement official, Eric Holder, lied to the American public. He finally admitted this week to the Senate Judiciary Committee, “In my testimony before the House committee [on May 3], I did say a few weeks. I probably could have said a couple of months. What I said about a few weeks was inaccurate based on what happened.”

When the nation’s highest law enforcement official lies to the American people, he must go.

And if he claims that he didn’t lie, then how else do we explain this situation? He’s either lying or he’s so grossly incompetent and lazy that he didn’t read important life and death briefings from his deputy attorney general and didn’t know about this deadly operation run by people under him. So, which is it? Incompetent, lazy, or lying? No matter which explanation fits, he needs to go.

Holder conceded this week, “I have ultimate responsibility for what happens in the department.” He can prove it by resigning. And if he refuses to resign, then President Obama – with whom the bucks ultimately stop – can prove that he respects honesty, transparency, and accountability in his administration by firing Holder.

I stand with the members of Congress who are calling for Holder’s resignation. I stand with the family members of Brian Terry who are demanding transparency and accountability. Mr. President, where do you stand?

    – Sarah Palin

P.S. It can be argued that some elements of this scandal give the appearance of perhaps being intended to be used to infringe on our Second Amendment rights. I invite our President to correct concerned Americans if they’re wrong on this.

  93. It used to be a requirement that the male population registered for the draft when becoming 18 years of age. Do you suppose that it could be called “PLAY TO PAY.”

  94. Speaking for myself a simple thank you is MORE than enough thanks for my service. I really don’t even expect that because when I served you were expected as a citizen to be COMPLIANT with the laws of our country. It was then, and still is part of the package which comes with being a US Citizen.

  95. There is a new top post in honor of our veterans!

  96. A Crazy Old Coot

As for me, a simple “thank you” is more than enough. I knew what I was doing when I enlisted in 1961 and never regretted it until Mr. obama and the current admin.

I never saw combat and I thank God for that. I, mostly, served in decent parts of the world. People like Oldsalt are the real heros and I appreciate all they did for this country.
